While a lot research has been devoted to the exploration of the antecedents of organizational commitment, less attention has been focused on the significant causal relationships among antecedents especially in the context of Saudi Arabia. Using data from 234 employees of two Saudi public sector organizations, this study examined the causal relationships of organizational practices with trust and role ambiguity in influencing organizational commitment composed of the three dimensions i.e., affective, continuance and normative commitments as developed by Meyer and Allen. This study also examined the effect of organizational commitment on altruism. Results of Linear Structural Relations (LISREL) analyses showed that human resource-oriented practices, such as career development and training, are more directly related to affective and normative commitment, while organizational process-oriented practices, such as communication and participation in decision-making, are indirectly related to them through role ambiguity and trust. However, no hypothesized antecedent was found to affect significantly continuance commitment. As an outcome of organizational commitment, altruism was predicted by affective commitment and role ambiguity. These findings highlight the importance of understanding the nature of organizational commitment in the public sector and provide useful theoretical and practical implications for the elicitation of desirable attitudes and behaviors among government employees.

Environmental degradation is on the rise with every passing year. As consumers, protecting the environment is our collective responsibility most especially through what we choose to consume. This study aims at examining the value benefits that consumers perceive when making purchase choices through exploration of the role of Perceived Green Value (PGV) on behavioral intention to consume green products in one of a renowned university in China. A questionnaire was used to collect data and a total of 426 valid samples were used for data analysis using SPSS 21-Amos Graphics. The results conceptualized PGV as a second order multi-dimensional construct with five value dimensions of utilitarian, environmental, hedonic, collaborative consumption and symbolic. Path analysis clarified the cause and effect relationships between PGV and behavioral intention to consume green products. Attitude and subjective norms as the two main constructs of Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) anchored this study. The results established positive relationship between PGV and the two TRA factors. The relationship between the two TRA factors and intention to consume was also significant. The resultant findings provides strategic practical implications to policy makers, marketers and individual consumers.

The results showed that e-Filing VAT has a significant influence on the quality of information at KPP Pratama Cimahi.

Omani population is influenced by the western dietary habits and there is increase in opting for pizza from international food chains. The study aims to identify the product quality attributes of pizza and its impact on customer satisfaction and repurchase. The objectives are to study the attributes of product quality that influence the purchase of Pizza and to identify the impact of product quality on consumer satisfaction and to examine the effect of customer satisfaction on repurchase. A sample size of 380 responses are collected from Nizwa. The most consistent variable that influence consumers related to the product quality of pizza is menu varieties and the consistency of pizza quality. Product quality of Pizza contributes 3% to satisfaction of pizza consumption. There is a moderate positive correlation between satisfaction and repurchase. Satisfaction of pizza consumption contributes 28% to repurchase of pizza.

This paper critically examined the impact of strategic human resources on Job Maximization, with specific focus on Lafarge Nig. Plc, Ewekoro, Ogun-State. This study employed a descriptive survey design. A sample size of 100 respondents was selected using simple random sampling technique of which 100 respondents filled and returned the questionnaire. Data from the questionnaire was analyzed using special software for statistics which is called statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 20. The study found out thatbusiness strategy influences job maximization of workers. Also, human resource practices and human resource strategy affects the job maximization of workers. After the findings of the research it is highly recommended that HR practices should cover key component of performance appraisal system, training and development, employee development plan, promotion employees, maintenance of employees as well as discharge or relieve of an employee duty. The essence of this will be to saddle the HR unit with singleton function of staff management and by this the duties of the unit is not duplicated within the organization.

Increase in population necessitates higher production from declining arable land. Pesticides use is inevitable one in crop production to save the crop. Vegetable crops are one among the major pesticide consuming crop. Indiscriminate uses of high toxic chemicals are hazardous to both human and environment. This study aims to assess farmers’ knowledge on identification of pest and diseases, nature of pesticide use and pest management practices in four major vegetable crops viz., brinjal, bhendi, tomato and onion in Tamil Nadu. Purposive and proportionate sampling procedure was used to collect the data from 240 no’s of sample respondents from study area. Descriptive analysis and response priority index was used to analyse the data. The results of the study revealed that the sample farmers were used high toxic to moderate toxic chemicals more frequently. Thirty to 65 percent of them are having good knowledge in identification of pest and diseases. But possessed average knowledge on identification of nematodes. Similarly 24-87 percent of sample farmers are good in following the chemical method of application. About 22-52 percent of them have possessed average to poor knowledge on biological and environmentally safe method.

This community service activity aims to educate business actors to sustain their businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity was carried out online through the Zoom platform, which business actors from Malaysia and Indonesia participated in. Some problems arise in sustaining business experienced by business actors. Among the problems are a decrease in income (turnover) and finding an appropriate approach to support the business. The method used is to provide education and steps that need to be carried out in maintaining the business. This activity is beneficial for both business actors and the community in general to sustain the business they are running.
