Information Publication Ethics Policy

This Publication Ethics Policy applies to all journals published by the International Academic Research Consortium (IARCON). All IARCON journals adhere to this policy to ensure consistency, transparency, research integrity, and the highest standards of scholarly publishing across the entire journal portfolio. This policy is developed in accordance with the recommendations and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and internationally recognized standards expected of reputable scholarly journals.

The following principles constitute the core of IARCON's Publication Ethics Policy and guide all editorial, peer review, and publishing activities.

1. Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the conception, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, drafting, or critical revision of the manuscript. All authors must approve the final version before submission and agree to be accountable for the integrity of the work.

2. Originality

Authors must submit original work that has not been published previously or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. Any use of another author's work, ideas, figures, or data must be appropriately cited. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited.

3. Data Access and Availability

Authors should retain the original research data and make it available to editors upon request. Where appropriate, authors are encouraged to deposit datasets in recognized repositories to support transparency, reproducibility, and verification of research findings.

4. Data Citation

Datasets used or generated during the research should be cited appropriately in the reference list using recognized citation standards. Data citations should include persistent identifiers such as DOIs whenever available.

5. Source Acknowledgment

Authors must accurately acknowledge all sources of information, financial support, institutional assistance, and contributions that do not meet the criteria for authorship.

6. Conflict of Interest Disclosure

All authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the objectivity of the research or editorial decision-making.

7. Reporting Standards

Authors must present research findings honestly, accurately, and transparently. Fabrication, falsification, selective reporting, image manipulation, and misleading interpretation of data constitute research misconduct and are unacceptable.

8. Human Rights

Research involving human participants must comply with internationally accepted ethical principles, including the Declaration of Helsinki and applicable national regulations. The dignity, privacy, safety, and rights of participants must always be protected.

9. Animal Welfare

Research involving animals must comply with internationally recognized standards for the ethical care and humane treatment of animals. Authors must confirm that all applicable institutional and national guidelines were followed.

10. Research Ethics

Research involving humans, animals, biological materials, or sensitive information must be conducted in accordance with recognized ethical standards and applicable regulations.

11. Institutional Review Board (IRB) Approval

Where applicable, manuscripts must include a statement confirming approval by an appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB), Ethics Committee, or equivalent ethics review authority, including the approval number where available.

12. Informed Consent

Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained from all human participants or their legal representatives whenever required. Patient privacy and confidentiality must always be protected.

13. Clinical Trial Registration

Clinical trials should be registered in a publicly accessible, recognized clinical trial registry before participant enrollment. Registration details should be included in the manuscript.

14. Author Accountability

All authors share responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the published work. Authors should cooperate fully with editors during peer review and promptly correct any significant errors identified after publication.

15. Research Misconduct

IARCON journals have zero tolerance for research misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate image manipulation, citation manipulation, unethical research practices, and authorship misconduct. Allegations are investigated in accordance with COPE guidance and appropriate editorial procedures.

16. Corrections and Retractions

Where errors or ethical concerns are identified after publication, the journal may publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record. Such actions are taken in accordance with COPE recommendations.

17. Advertising Policy

Advertising activities are maintained separately from editorial decision-making. Advertisements must not influence the peer review process, editorial independence, or publication decisions. The publication of advertisements does not imply endorsement by IARCON or its journals.

18. Editorial Responsibility

Editors are responsible for ensuring a fair, confidential, timely, and unbiased editorial process. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality, originality, significance, and ethical compliance of submitted manuscripts.

19. Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, confidential, and timely evaluations. Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest and decline review assignments where impartiality cannot be maintained.

20. Commitment to Ethical Publishing

IARCON and its journals are committed to promoting honesty, transparency, accountability, fairness, and integrity throughout the research publication process. All editors, reviewers, authors, and editorial staff are expected to uphold these ethical principles and comply with internationally accepted publication standards.
