Abstract

The introduction and significance of the research addressed spinal abnormalities, namely lateral curvature, its causative factors, the necessity of treatment, rehabilitation of affected individuals, and the mitigation of resultant consequences. The research problem pertains to the severity of posterior deformities and lateral spinal curvature, emphasising the necessity for early rehabilitation. It aims to enhance public and university libraries with studies on devices and tools that facilitate the rehabilitation of these deformities, as well as to supply physical therapy centers, health facilities, and hospitals. The objective of the research was to develop a rehabilitation program utilising aids and devices to address lateral spine curvature abnormalities, and to assess the efficacy of the program incorporating various devices and physiotherapeutic tools in the rehabilitation of these conditions. The researcher posited that statistically significant variations exist between the pre-test and post-test findings, favouring the post-tests. The experimental method involves designing a singular group from the research sample, implementing testing procedures, diagnostic methods, and data collection techniques, which encompass exploratory experiments, physical assessments, questionnaire formats, program preparation, application methods, duration, and the execution of pre-tests and post-tests. Subsequently, the statistical methods in data processing are applied, followed by the presentation and categorisation of results in tables and illustrative graphics. Subsequently, they were analysed in a methodical way substantiated by scientific sources. The discussion focuses on attaining the research aims and the validity of its hypotheses. The researcher concluded that the program, along with its methods and tools, significantly influences the rehabilitation of injuries, deformities, and lateral spinal curvatures based on thorough investigation. The recommendation is for the researcher to persist with programs focused on devices and methods for rehabilitation and injury prevention, as well as for mitigating the deterioration of the condition.

INTRODUCTION

While practicing brain damageto life and sports activities, a person is exposed to a lot of stresses that lead to many injuries, including disabilities and physical deformities that affect the human body and the shape of the person and the shape of the person and the ability to move and cause The deviation of the body's center of gravity from its natural position [1]. One of the reasonsfor the occurrence of these deformities is health, environmental, educational and psychological, as well as genetic, "illiterate malformations are the result of tradition and not genetics" [2]. The spine has characteristics and duties that qualify it to be the pillar of the body, as it is responsible for carrying the weight of the body, transporting the lower limbs, carrying the head, upper limbs, and the rib cage, and the passage of the spinal cord within the vertebrae [3]. Carrying the weight of the body and maintaining its balance during its stability and movement is a great effort that the spine bears, and the occurrence of any position or imbalance in the muscles and ligaments leads to deformities in its postures and sutured positions of an object far from the natural physiological limits, and a change in the positions of the motor system to overcome the forces of gravity on it [4]. The researcher has proposed a rehabilitation program using some tools and devices to rehabilitate the lateral spine curvature injury and rehabilitate it early tocontribute to overcoming and preventing these deformities, as they stand as an obstacle to providing performance in these youth centers and forums.

Research Problem

The age range of 15 to 20 is regarded as a crucial developmental stage for the rapid acquisition of physical, motor, and skill abilities. They are particularly susceptible to spinal injuries and abnormalities due to an improper balance of ligament and muscle strength when carrying weights. Inappropriate habits, inadequate training, detrimental practices, and other factors have contributed to a rise in the incidence of malformations. Consequently, the researcher opted to investigate the issue pertinent to his study and devise a program that assesses injuries related to lateral spinal curvature utilising specialised devices and instruments for evaluation and rehabilitation. This approach aims to enhance the rehabilitation process for the injured and foster their engagement with the program's content, ultimately striving to improve performance outcomes.

Research Objectives

  • Preparing a rehabilitation program using aids and devices to rehabilitate the lateral spine curvature injury

  • Identifying the effect of the rehabilitation program using devices and aids to rehabilitate the lateral spine curvature injury in the development of some physical abilities (strength, strength prolongation, flexibility) in the research sample

  • Identifying the effect of physical abilities elements in the correction of some deformities and curvature of the lateral spine

Research Hypotheses

  • There are significant differences with statistical significance between the results of the pre- and post-test and in favor of the post-test

  • There are significant differences with statistical significance between improving some physical abilities and rehabilitating the injury of lateral spine curvature deformities

Research Areas

  • Human Area: A sample of players of forums and youth centers in the center of Maysan Governorate with lateral spine curvature for the ages of (1, 5-20) years, and the number of 6 withyen

  • Temporal Area: Period from 18/1/20to 14/5/2025

  • Spatial Area: A field survey was conducted in six youth forums of the center of Maysan Governorate and the vocabularyof the rehabilitation program was applied with its means and tools in the halls of the Hayy Al-Hussein Youth Forum

METHODOLOGY

Research Methodology

Inorder to improve the research and for the most accurate results, the researcher used the experimental method by designing one group with pre- and post-tests. This method is "particularly adapted to studies related to physical preparation, learning and development, as it is known in advance that no changes in fitness occur unless applied to those close to himafter a period of training [5]. The experimental method is one of the methods and methods used to study and solve the problem and reveal the facts.

Research Sample

After thefield survey distributed to a number of forums and centers for youth and for ages 1 5-20 years affiliated to the Directorate of Youth and Sports of Maysan Governorate, which are 14 forums. The researcher excluded 6 six centers because this age group did not exist during the research period, so the situation settled on 8 Forums: The research sample was selected by the deliberate method of people with lateral spinal curvature .

The total number of infected individuals reached twelve, of which six failed the pre-tests and were subsequently excluded. The research sample had a total of six infected individuals, and to ensure homogeneity, all participants were male and closely matched in age and height. and mass. To adjust to the transitional period of growth following this stage [6]. All participants in the research sample had functional lateral spinal curvature. The diagnosis was established by specialized physicians based on preliminary tests and radiological examinations, alongside the assessment of deformity using the New York form for posture diagnosis, the functional capacity of spinal muscles, and various physical characteristics (strength, elongation, flexibility), as detailed in Table 1.

Third- Evaluation of the Test

It meets the scientific conditions of consistency, honesty and objectivity, as the test that gives the same results is given more than once and under the same conditions [9]. In order to find the consistency and extent of the test, the researcher used the retest method, which is to test the same individuals twice and under the same conditions, and to find the correlation coefficient between the two tests. The stability coefficient for the maximum strength tests for back and abdominal stray was 0.8, 2, 0.85 Straight and elongated for the muscles of the back and abdomen 0.85, 0.91 respectively and the anterior and posterior flexibility of the torso as follows 0.8, 2, 0.90. As for the lateral flexibility, it was 3.8, 0.8 2 respectively, and the validity of the test is the extent to which the test measures theskill expected to be measured. Since the division of several experts into a certain skill is one of the measures used to determine the validity of the test. If the test is fixed, it is considered one of the aspects of its sincerity.

Because objectivity is closely related to the stability coefficient, the objectivity coefficient is achieved with high degrees of stability, and witha high stability coefficient, the objectivity coefficient rises.

Exploratory Experience

The researcher conducted his exploratory experiment, which is "a preliminary experimental study conducted by the researcher on a small sample before starting the research and to find out the choice of research methods and tools [10]. In order to identify the devices and tools used and their validity. Ensuring the accuracy, suitability, correctness and potential obstacles during the implementation of the research, and developing alternatives to them, as well as knowing and enhancing the positive aspects, the first stage was for physical tests. Theexploratory experiment of the C-Rehabilitation Program under study was applied to a random sample of patients with lateral spinal curvature.

This experiment resulted in:

  • Modifying some measurements about the faceand the tools used in the research

  • Confirm in the back and strength test that the arms are not involved during the pulling with the dynamometer

  • Confirm that the safety measures for the sample are met

  • The experiment sought to shape the exercises on the devices and tools within the training unit and enabledthe researcher to calculate the exercise time of each training unit, the number of its repetitions, and the rest periods between exercises and totals according to the maximum values of performance

  • Ensuring that the scientific conditions and transactions (truthful, consistent and objective) of the research tests are met

  • Accuracy of developing the vocabulary of theprogramC according to the abilities of the injured for the injury under study

Pre-Tests

On Tuesday 28/1/2025 until 30/1/2025, the researcher assisted the work team to conduct pre-tests on the research sample of 12 patients with lateral spine curvature before excluding six of them. The researcher was keen to apply the tests according to priority and at specific times.

Designed and Prepared Qualifying Program

After conducting the pre-tests, the prepared program was applied and its vocabulary of rehabilitative therapeutic physical exercises was implemented for the period from 15/2/2025 to 10/5/2025. Using devices and assistive tools aimed at rehabilitating the injury of lateral spine curvature by strengthening the weak muscles and the flexibility of the corresponding muscles causing the deformity, the researcher sought to pay attention to the medical aspects specific to this stage 15-20 years. The curriculum must be flexible so that it gives freedom to innovate. Based on needs, characteristics, abilities and motivations [11], 1995. The program prepared by the researcher was presented to experts and specialists to nominate devices and tools that help in the injury lateral bending. It was distributed into daily and weekly qualifying units, so the program was divided into 36 units into 12 weeks andthree units per week, as the duration of the main section ranged from 25-35 minutes and the duration of the preparatory part 10-1 5 minutes. To prepare and prepare the different parts of the body in an organized and gradual manner to bear the burdens of the next pregnancy and to ensure that no injuries occur [12]. As for the final part, it lasts from 5-10 minutes to return the affected people to their normal state and reduce the amount of pregnancy that occurs, including either relaxation exercises that do not need concentration and emotion or equal small games [12] for the purpose of recreation and psychological calming.

Post-Tests

After the researcher carried out the procedures of his rehabilitation program, he conducted on Monday 12/5/2025 until 14/5/2025 the post-tests on his research sample, taking into account the stability in the spatial and temporal conditions, the means and tools for the test , and the sequence of tests and measurements according to what was applied in the pre-tests.

Statistical Methods

The researcher used the statistical package (SPSS-24 ) in his data processing and research procedures.

The researcher determined the variation between the arithmetic medians of 0.8 A degree and a percentage of 290.41% for the post-tribal assessment, along with the outcomes of the physical evaluations strength of the back muscles, strength of the abdominal muscles, endurance of the back muscles, endurance of the abdominal muscles, forward spinal flexibility, backward spinal flexibility, lateral spinal flexibility. There were substantial variations favouring the dimensions aspect in all tests, as well as in the enhancement of the damage in the post-test, accompanied by a notable reduction in the degree of curvature. The researcher posits that the rationale for this is attributable to the structured rehabilitation program and the precision of its execution by the sample participants, as evidenced by the significant disparities in the physical assessments, favouring the dimensional analysis and the measurement of curvature of the variables under investigation. The researcher ascribes this to the injury and deformity causing the body's center of gravity to deviate from a linear path, resulting in diminished performance in pre-tests reliant on balance, as the body comprises distinct components. The greater the vertical alignment of weight centers, the more stable the object becomes, enhancing its balancing performance [13]. The coherence of the vocabulary within the prepared curriculum, regarding the utilisation of static, dynamic, and varied exercises, significantly influenced strength development and the application of physical exercises. Furthermore, strength enhancement is achieved through the selection of static and dynamic exercises that yield superior outcomes for strength development throughout the program [14]. The elevation in force output and the synchronisation of muscular activity, alongside counter-efforts, due to nervous adaptation and exertion, necessitates corresponding rest to restore to baseline levels. Muscles require specific recuperation as a natural and voluntary response to replenish following exertion. The alignment of work and comfort in training load, regarding intensity and volume, corresponds with an enhancement in the functional capacity of organic organs to facilitate their growth and development [15]. The researcher elucidated that the advancement in injury rehabilitation was conducted by members of the research sample who did not engage in the various rehabilitation programs necessitating performances they had not previously executed. By implementing these programs, they were compelled to perform novel movements with the assistance of devices and tools. The Help. The researcher sought to underscore the execution of exercises tailored to the specific injury and deformity, concentrating on the contralateral side to enhance strength, while simultaneously promoting flexibility in the robust side. This approach aims to achieve a balanced force distribution, as larger muscles exhibit less flexibility compared to their thinner counterparts. The researcher posits that the enhancement in the damage is attributable to the psychological condition during physical exercise execution, the utilization of gadgets and assistance, and the environmental conditions present during the implementation of the program's terminology, as referenced by Qasim and Qais [16]. The psychological state influences the enhancement of flexibility and physical fitness components [16]. The research has successfully met its objectives and demonstrated the good influence of the rehabilitation program devised for a bending injury. Assessment of the lateral spine via physical indicators examinations
