Non-Surgical and a Non-Extraction Treatment of Adult Skeletal Class III Malocclusion
Skeletal class III malocclusions are generally difficult to treat because of the complex nature of the skeletal and dental manifestations they produce and the uncontrolled development of the malformation due to complex interactions between genetic and environmental factors, However, if there are no significant soft tissue implications and the patient does not want to undergo orthognatic surgery, other treatment options may be considered. The current case report describes a compensatory alternative for Class III malocclusion therapy of a 41- year-old male patient, the total active treatment time was 21 months. His occlusion, smile esthetics, and soft tissue profile were significantly improved after treatment.
