Abstract

Acute appendicitis remains a significant clinical challenge due to its variable presentations and potential complications. This article reviews the clinical features of acute appendicitis, the importance of accurate diagnosis and the role of clinical scoring systems and imaging modalities in enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
