Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of anchoring bias, loss aversion, herding behavior, overconfidence, and financial risk tolerance on investment decisions on BTN deposits at the Padang branch office during the Covid- 19 pandemic. The population in this study were all Bank BTN depositors who invested in deposits during the pandemic totaling 498 depositors. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with the criteria of having a deposit account at Bank BTN, Having deposit funds starting from 100 million and above and the depositor's fund placement period is at least 1 month with an automatic period extension system by the Bank (Automatic Roll Over/ARO). Based on these criteria, 161 depositors were obtained that could be used as samples. By using the PLS SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model) data analysis technique, the results obtained are that all hypotheses are accepted except for the effect of financial risk tolerance on deposit investment decisions. Thus, depositors must be careful in identifying and analyzing behavioral factors that can influence deposit investment decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
