In addition, through this, the job search ability of the elderly was derived and presented to promote employment. The panel survey used for this was data from the '2016 6th Aging Research Panel Survey (KLoSA)' of the Korea Employment Information Service, and a structural equation model was constructed using the results of a survey conducted on elderly people born before 1962, The statistical program was analyzed using AMOS (21.0). The results of the study show that the perception of job search barriers of the elderly has a significant effect on social activity participation and life satisfaction of the elderly, and these have a significant effect on the overall happiness level, and the perception of job search barriers is related to the happiness of the elderly. This suggests that a lot of attention and effort are needed to secure jobs and improve job-seeking ability of the elderly. In consideration of these aspects, it was found that it was necessary to find jobs that could work in a healthy state for the elderly, remove the job search barriers of the elderly as much as possible, or improve the job-seeking ability of the elderly for changes in the social environment, etc.
