The researcher adopted the experimental method in the method of one group with pre- and post-tests. An intentional sample of Basra Governorate football club players (under the age of 21) with weakness and atrophy of the thigh muscles. The final sample included 6 players after 6 others were excluded for organizational and medical reasons. Time and Spatial Range: The experiment was applied in the swimming pool and halls of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Basra for the period from 16/3/2024 to 16/6/2024 (with 24 rehabilitation units over 12 weeks). The researcher used the statistical package (-25 SPSS) based on the (T.test) test for the symmetrical samples. The most important conclusions are the existence of statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test in the development of maximum strength, the strength of the anterior and posterior femoral muscles, and the increase in the circumference of the affected thigh. Thermal means (ultrasound and short waves) before water exercise play an active role in removing swelling, blood vessel and congestion. Aquatic exercises with body weight and water pressure contributed to muscle hypertrophy, neural adaptation, and the development of strength and flexibility. One of the most important recommendations is the adoption of the aquatic rehabilitation curriculum in the clubs, and the appointment of specialized doctors to coordinate with the coach and therapist to determine the severity and recurrence and prevent the injury from becoming chronic.
</article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
