This study explores the intricacies of Vitamin D awareness, focusing on symptoms, risk factors, preventive measures, and treatment options, considering the unique geographical and cultural landscape. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in Himachal Pradesh between August and November 2023. The study included 400 women of reproductive age, utilizing a Google Form questionnaire covering socio-demographic details and Vitamin D deficiency knowledge. Scoring ranged from very good (&amp;gt;80%) to poor (&amp;lt;40%), and statistical analyses were performed using Epi Info V7 Software. Results: Among 400 participants, 31% demonstrated very good knowledge, 39% good knowledge, 19.5% fair knowledge, and 10.5% poor knowledge regarding Vitamin D deficiency. Participants exhibited strong awareness of common symptoms (78.75%), risk factors (63.5%), and preventive measures (63.25%). However, nuances like the impact of skin pigmentation (52.75%) and less obvious symptoms (69%) indicated specific areas for targeted education. Conclusion: The study provides nuanced insights into Vitamin D awareness among women of reproductive age in Himachal Pradesh. While overall knowledge levels are encouraging, identified gaps emphasize the need for targeted interventions. The unique regional landscape necessitates tailored strategies for enhanced public health outcomes.</abstract></article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
