This cross-sectional study conducted in District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, India, explores the unique socio-cultural landscape of the Himalayan region to evaluate the awareness of RTIs among women of reproductive age. Materials &amp;amp; Methods:&amp;nbsp;A descriptive cross-sectional survey was conducted from August 2023 to October 2023. The study included 400 women of reproductive age residing in District Kangra for at least 12 months. A Google Form questionnaire, encompassing socio-demographic and RTI knowledge questions, was pre-tested and circulated online. Data analysis employed Epi Info V7 Software, emphasizing frequencies and percentages. The study aligned with India's National Health Mission objectives. Results:&amp;nbsp;Of the 400 participants, 41.75% were from urban and 58.25% from rural areas. The study revealed commendable awareness levels, with 73.25% recognizing common RTI symptoms. Preventive measures such as personal hygiene and condom use were acknowledged by 72.5% and 67.5%, respectively. Concerns about undetected RTIs (60%) and awareness of screening and treatment options (67.5% to 73.5%) were notable. Socio-demographic determinants influenced knowledge levels. Overall, 29.5% had very good knowledge, 40.5% good, 18.5% fair, and 11.5% poor. Conclusion:&amp;nbsp;This study contributes vital insights into RTI awareness in the Himalayan region. High awareness on symptoms and preventive measures contrasts with knowledge gaps on asymptomatic RTIs. Tailored interventions addressing socio-demographic factors are imperative. The study underscores the need for region-specific public health strategies, aligning with national objectives, to enhance RTI awareness and promote women's reproductive health.</abstract></article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
