The study precisely focuses on the non financial performance of the bank which is proxy with customer retention ratio. Eight banks are included in the survey and all the data are sourced from the annual reports of the banks. Descriptive and Panel data analysis are applied. The results reveal that the impact of CSR on non-financial performance is not significant. The study recommends that Nigerian banks should harmonize commitment to corporate social responsibility spending with non-financial performance so as to reduce the intrinsic negative effect of allocating funds that could be used for sustaining growth and expansion of business to areas of social responsibility.&amp;nbsp;
</article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
