Despite its routine use, the knowledge of healthcare workers regarding spinal anesthesia and its implications for low back health remains underexplored. This study aimed to assess the knowledge levels among healthcare professionals in District Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, and contribute insights for targeted educational interventions.Materials and Methods:&amp;nbsp;A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 100 healthcare workers in District Kinnaur, employing a descriptive research design. A Google Form questionnaire was developed, covering socio-demographic information and 20 structured questions assessing knowledge about spinal anesthesia and its role in low backache. The study duration spanned from August 2023 to November 2023, utilizing convenience and snowball sampling techniques. Data were collected, entered into Microsoft Excel, and analyzed using Epi Info V7 Software. Results:&amp;nbsp; The study revealed varying levels of knowledge among healthcare workers. While a majority demonstrated satisfactory understanding, specific areas such as anatomical considerations and drug solution components exhibited knowledge gaps. The distribution of participants across knowledge categories indicated the need for targeted educational interventions. Participants showed notable awareness of spinal anesthesia's analgesic effects and its duration in managing low backache. Conclusion:&amp;nbsp; The study provides valuable insights into the knowledge landscape of healthcare workers in District Kinnaur regarding spinal anesthesia and its role in low backache. Targeted educational programs addressing identified knowledge gaps can further enhance the competence of healthcare professionals, contributing to improved patient care and outcomes. The study emphasizes the importance of continuous learning opportunities for healthcare workers in the unique healthcare landscape of District Kinnaur.
</article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
