This study aims to assess awareness levels about RTIs among women in District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, considering regional dynamics and diverse sociocultural factors. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted from August to November 2023, involving 400 women of reproductive age in District Mandi. A structured questionnaire, validated by experts, assessed participants' knowledge on RTI risk factors and preventive measures. Data analysis employed Epi Info V7 Software and ethical considerations were prioritized throughout the study. Results: The study revealed commendable awareness levels among participants, with 36.5% exhibiting very good knowledge, 38.5% good knowledge, 15.75% fair knowledge and 9.25% poor knowledge. Respondents demonstrated awareness of symptoms, transmission modes and preventive practices associated with RTIs. However, gaps were identified, including potential undetected RTIs and barriers related to healthcare accessibility. Conclusion: The study underscores the importance of tailored interventions to enhance RTI awareness, considering the regional context of District Mandi. While participants exhibited positive trends in knowledge, targeted efforts addressing specific gaps can further contribute to reproductive health promotion. Public health initiatives should focus on comprehensive education, community engagement and collaboration with healthcare providers.
</article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
