In Lebanon, the transhumance roads importance is poorly recognized, or protected and witnessing a decline due to anthropogenic and natural threats. This study was carried to identify the existing drove roads and investigate the challenges that threat their sustainable use in Mount Lebanon. The methodology was based on first analysis of background information and surveys, trail mapping and Landscape Visual Resources Inventory. It was found three drove roads stretching on 26.21 km and 8 rangeland stations between Raachine rangeland and Mchaa Kfardebian. However, many challenges were reported due to landownership issues and car accidents which threaten their existence and use.&amp;nbsp;Accordingly, a valorisation approach was proposed to incorporate benefits for different users and enhance the sustainable use of found drove roads.
</article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
