While a commendable understanding of causes (71.75%) and symptoms (80.25%) was observed, gaps in basic knowledge were identified. Notably, 66.25% recognized potential complications, emphasizing the importance of prompt medical attention. Environmental factors influencing sore throat were acknowledged by 65.25% of participants, while vaccination awareness stood at 26%.
