By individualizing treatment and focusing on metabolic outcomes, health care professionals can assist persons with diabetes to make lifestyle changes and to achieve metabolic goals. Aim- To see whether the three lifestyle interventions namely Rajyoga meditation, diet and exercise can have a role to play in slowing down the progress of diabetes in T2DM. Method- This was a intervention, pre and post study. Diabetic&amp;nbsp;patients in the age group of 30-60years, including both sexes&amp;nbsp; and taking treatment since 5 to 10 years&amp;nbsp; were selected for the study. By random selection 60 diabetic patients were allocated to the intervention group. The study group had 3 subgroups namely (A) Rajyoga meditation(RM) only, (B) Diet and Exercise only and (C)RM, diet &amp;amp; exercise all three combined. Each subgroup had 20 diabetic patients.&amp;nbsp; Result- A&amp;nbsp; significant&amp;nbsp;finding&amp;nbsp; was&amp;nbsp; observed&amp;nbsp;in&amp;nbsp; HbA1C and&amp;nbsp; HDL values&amp;nbsp;in Group C&amp;nbsp; and a&amp;nbsp; significant decrease in LDL level&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;in Group B&amp;nbsp;.Conclusion-. It can be inferred that&amp;nbsp; all three lifestyle modification measures&amp;nbsp; can be used in the management of T2DM&amp;nbsp; in conjugation with routine antidiabetic therapy.
</article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
