The analytical and IR data showed that, the ligand behaves as neutral tetradentate. Molar conductivity in DMF indicate that, the complexes are non-electrolytes. ESR spectra of solid Cu(II) complexes at room temperature show axial type (dx2-y2) with covalent bond character in an octahedral environment. However, Co(II) and Mn(II) complexes showed isotropic type. Ligand and some of its complexes showed inhibitory activity against breast cancer (MCF-7 cell line) compared with standard drug (azathioprine).&amp;nbsp;</abstract></article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
