The strengthening of the intellectual base has shifted the stigma that great war leaders were shaped solely by the number of battles won, but also by a combination of war experience and formal education. This study aims to determine differences in European conditions before and after the Napoleonic era, as well as the transformation of military schools that occurred in 19th century Europe. By using a qualitative exploratory method through literature search, it is known that the application of the merit system in military school organizations and career paths, as well as the birth of the spirit of nationalism which became the embryo of the concept of state defense was the initiation of Napoleon Bonaparte's transformational leadership.</abstract></article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
