He is not a pitcher or a jug, he is a veritable barrel. He is not a minnow; he is a huge red-eyed carp. He is not an ordinary sixteen - petalled lotus - he is a glorious lotus with a thousand petals.” - Sri Ramakrishna Swami Vivekananda is contemplated to be a divine personality. He attached weight in equality of every individual irrespective of class, caste, gender or religion. His propaganda of universal brotherhood takes a positive step in sustaining world harmony. At the threshold of youth, Vivekananda passes through a spiritual crisis and was guided by Sri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa, and later founded Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. He travelled throughout India and discovered India under the claustrophobic grip of poverty, illiteracy and backwardness.&amp;nbsp; He staunchly believed in achieving true knowledge which in return can manifest a person fittingly. A person who is aware of his abilities would cognize spirituality. Even after so many years of his absence, Swami Vivekananda still resides in the hearts of all Indians. He attempted to create a bridge between the Orientals and the Occidentals. This theoretical paper attempts to focus on the views of Swami Vivekananda on Education which is the ‘manifestation of perfection already in man’. He stresses on the different aspects of education such as Man-making Education, Women Education, Mass Education etc. His iconic words are the weapon guiding towards light by irradiating all the barriers and darkness of life.
</article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
