Currently, China makes connections with South Asian countries through hard&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;soft infrastructure&amp;nbsp;systems. For an objective assessment, the paper based on the theory of Liberalism and Realism&amp;nbsp;in the study of international relations as a framework to assess the motives and impacts of China's "infrastructure diplomacy" in South Asia. By using policy analysis,&amp;nbsp;the paper find out that from 2012 to 2018: (i) the motives of Chinese policy in the implementation process at the national, regional, and international levels aim to clarify the multi-objective of civilians and the building-ability military bases abroad through its infrastructure projects in South Asia; (ii) specify the ways and tools of policy implementation; (iii) thereby,&amp;nbsp;provides some assessments of the impact of this policy at the national and regional levels on South Asia.&amp;nbsp;</abstract></article-meta></front><body /><back /></article>
